By order dated 18.5.2017 in Writ A No. 19585 of 2011 filed by the applicant, this Court directed the District Inspector of Schools, Bareilly, opposite party herein, to consider and decide the claim of the applicant for payment of arrears of salary, within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of the order.
Sri P.K. Giri, learned Additional Chief Standing Counsel, on instructions from the opposite party, states that in compliance of the direction issued by the writ Court, a decision was taken on 10.1.2018 holding the applicant entitled to arrears of salary to the tune of Rs. 1,09,864/- A copy of the said order has been placed for perusal of this Court. It is also stated that the opposite party has sent a communication on 12.12.2017 to Additional Director (Madhyamic) for sanction of the said amount so that it is paid to the applicant.
Having regard to the above position, this Court is not inclined to proceed any further in the instant matter. The contempt application stands disposed of accordingly.
