1. Heard Sri Harish Kumar Tripathi, Advocate for petitioners and learned Standing Counsel for Respondents-1 to 3.
2. Petitioner's lease has expired on 31st March, 2019. In this regard, petitioner has already submitted applications dated 04.01.2019 and 02.09.2019 before respondent/ Competent Authority. The same is liable to be considered in view of Government Order dated 3rd September, 1992 but same has not been decided till date. Grievance of petitioner is that since his applications are not being considered by respondent-Competent Authority and the lease has since expired on 31st March, 2019, therefore, there is serious apprehension of eviction of petitioner.
3. Learned Standing Counsel stated that if no final decision has been taken on the aforesaid applications submitted by petitioner, the same shall be decided expeditiously by respondent/Competent Authority.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case but without expressing any opinion on merits, we dispose of writ petition directing Respondent/Competent Authority to look into grievance of petitioners and take final decision on petitioner's applications expeditiously in accordance with law and in any case within two months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order before him.
