This is a petition filed under Section 24 of C.P.C. seeking transfer of O.P.No. 1483 of 2013 pending before the Family Court, Chavara at Kollam to the Family Court, Kottarakkara.
2. Suffice to say that the marital relationship between the petitioner and the respondent ran into rough weather and litigations began. The petitioner has instituted M.C.No.143 of 2014 before the Family Court, Kottarakara for maintenance for herself and the daughter and the respondent has instituted O.P.No. 1483 of 2013 before the Family Court, Chavara for divorce.
3. The petitioner points out that as common issues arise in both the cases, it will be only proper that both the cases may be tried in the same court and it will be convenient to her if the matter is transferred to the Family

Court, Kottarakkara. It is also pointed out that she finds it difficult to go over to the Family Court, Chavara to attend the routine postings of the case.
4. After having heard the learned counsel on both sides and after having gone through the records, it is felt that the request made by the petitioner is reasonable.
Hence, this petition is allowed and O.P.No. 1483 of 2013 pending before the Family Court, Chavara at Kollam shall stand transferred to the Family Court, Kottarakkara.
