The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the Principal Judge, Family Court, Rampur to decide Misc. Case No. 31 of 2019 (Kanchan Vs. Deepanshu Gangawar) filed under Sections 7 and 25 of the Guardian and Wards Act, 1890 instituted by the petitioner for custody of the minor child within a specified time frame.
A perusal of the order sheet reveals that on 3.8.2019, the opposite party appeared and was supplied copy of the plaint and another documents.
Having regard to the fact that the matter relates to custody of a minor child, the court below is directed to ensure that the matter is decided expeditiously, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments.
The petition is disposed of accordingly.
