In the counter, it has been stated that the alleged detenu was arrested in connection with Crime No.147 of 2014 of Chilakalaripeta Police Station, under Section 379 of Indian Penal Code, and he was produced before the appropriate Court on 15.06.2014, which has remanded him to judicial custody.
Hence, we close the writ petition with liberty to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum for release of the alleged detenu. There will be no order as to costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed.
