Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Sanjeev Kumar Singh, learned counsel for the respondents.
Pursuant to the order of this Court dated 18.12.2017 with regard to deposit of default amount due against the petitioner pursuant to a loan granted by the bank, the petitioner submits that he has deposited 4 lacs on 31.12.2017. The petitioner had given an undertaking before this Court that rest of the amount shall be deposited on or before 31.3.2018 but the same has not been deposited. The argument of learned counsel for the petitioner is that he has not been given any statement of account, but admits his liability and submits that he may be permitted to deposit the entire outstanding amount by 2nd of April, 2018.
In case, the petitioner deposits the entire outstanding amount as well as interest and other charges, no coercive action shall be taken till 2nd of April, 2018 but in case on default of payment, the authorities are liable to proceed against the petitioner.
With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is disposed of.
