The prayer made in the instant petition by the defendant of Original Suit No. 22 of 2018 is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide the matter relating to temporary injunction within a specified time frame.
Counsel for the petitioner pointed out that the petitioner has already filed objection against the application for temporary injunction, but the trial court is extending the order of temporary injunction on every date without deciding the application.
Having regard to the facts of the case and the submission made, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to ensure that the application for temporary injunction is decided expeditiously, preferably within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
