Hon'ble Pankaj Naqvi,J. Hon'ble Piyush Agrawal,J.
Heard Sri Sunil Kumar for the petitioner, Sri Akhileshwar Prasad, learned Standing Counsel and Sri Vikas Budhwar, learned counsel for respondent no. 4.
The sole issue which has cropped up in this petition as to whether the petitioner who holds a letter of intent issued by oil corporation for installation of petrol pump would be governed by the guidelines dated 25.11.2018 or 4.12.2019. Sri Vikas Budhwar, learned counsel for the respondents on the strength of guidelines dated 24.12.2020 supports the case of the petitioner that it would not be the guidelines dated 4.12.2019 rather the previous guideline dated 25.11.2018 which is sought to be opposed by the learned counsel appearing for the State.
No useful purpose would be served by keeping this petition pending in view of the order, which the Court proposes to pass hereunder.
The writ petition is disposed of with direction that if the petitioner approaches the competent authority concerned along with a copy of this order, the said authority shall pass appropriate orders relating to issuance of 'NOC' expeditiously, in accordance law, preferably within a month from the date of receipt of this order.
