Sri Chandan Kumar, appearing for respondents-1 and 2 raises a preliminary objection that United Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd. is a non-statutory body, as such, the writ petition is not maintainable. He submits that this controversy has already been decided by this Court in Writ - A No. 47560 of 2012 (Shashi Kant Saroj vs. General Manager), decided on 9.12.2013. A copy of the order dated 9.12.2013 has been annexed as Annexure-12 to the writ petition.
Since it has been finally held by this Court that United Mercantile Cooperative Bank Ltd. is a non-statutory body and the writ petition is not maintainable, as such, the present writ petition is also not maintainable and is dismissed as such.
