Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned A.G.A.
This writ petition has been filed praying for the following main relief:
"issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned first information report dated 20.7.2021 in Case Crime No.0105 of 2021, under Sections 366, 376D, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C., Police Station Haliya, District Mirzapur."
On the instructions, learned A.G.A. informed to the Court that in the aforesaid case crime number final report was submitted on 10.4.2021 to the superior officer/Circle Officer, which was returned to the Investigating Officer on 15.5.2021 for reinvestigation in the matter, which is still pending consideration.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the investigating officer is not properly investigating the matter and collusively not taking action against the accused.
In view of the aforesaid, we direct the police authorities to conclude the investigation of the said case fairly and expeditiously, within two weeks from the date of production of a copy of this order before them.
In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed off.
