Heard counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel.
By means of the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks a direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 4 Consolidation Officer, Rambag, Mizapur to expedite the proceeding initiated in pursuance of the order dated 23.7.1992 passed by the Consolidation Officer and also proceeding under Rule 109-A of U.P. Consolidation of Holdings Rules.
Contention of the learned counsel for petitioner is that the petitioner filed an application under Rule 109-A of the Rules in which the order was passed for implementation but till date the said order has not been implemented in the revenue record. It is further contended that the petitioner filed an application in this regard before the Consolidation Officer on 6.5.2015 which remain pending till date.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, direction is issued upon respondent no. 4 Consolidation Officer, Rambag, Mizapur to look into the matter and pass appropriate order by issuing amaldaramad etc. for implementation of the order dated 23.7.1992 in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within period of four months from the date of production of a certified copy of this order.
With the above direction, the writ petition stands finally disposed of. No order as to costs.
