1. In pursuance of the earlier orders passed by this Court on 07.08.2018 and 27.07.2018 the learned Standing Counsel has received instructions from the Government, which are taken on record. It appears that the Director of Local Bodies has already written to the Secretary, U.P. Public Service Commission, Allahabad on 18th of July, 2018 indicating that as per the notification issued by the State Government identifying the posts and kind of disability admissible in such posts, the post of Food Inspector has been identified for only partially deaf and partially blind people and has not been identified as suitable for the persons with locomotor disability or cerebral palsy.
2. The counsel for U.P. Public Service Commission has also received instructions dated 16th of August, 2018. As per the instruction signed by the Section Officer and the Deputy Secretary of the Commission, the U.P.P.S.C. has started the process of taking interviews. The dates fixed for holding interviews are 23, 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31st of August, 2018 and 1, 4, 5, 6, 7th of September, 2018.
3. This writ petition was filed with the following prayers:-
" i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of MANDAMUS directing the respondents to complete the process of selection pursuant to the advertisement No. 3/2013-14 dated 22.10.2013 issued by U.P. Public Service Commission, Allahabad for the 128 posts of Sanitary and Food Inspector which is the post pertaining to U.P.
ii. Pass any other order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the facts and circumstances of this case.
iii. Award the cost of the writ petition."
4. In view of the written instructions received from the State-respondents and from the U.P. Public Service Commission, this writ petition has become infructuous and is dismissed as such.
