Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.K. Mishra, learned Standing Counsel for the State authorities.
Learned Standing Counsel appearing for the State authorities states that subject to verification of all facts and contentions on merits being left open, the claim of the petitioner for payment of minimum in the pay scale shall be duly attended to by the said respondent and disposed of in accordance with law and bearing in mind the principles laid down by the Supreme Court in State of Punjab Vs. Jagjit Singh, 2017(1) SCC 148. It is further stated that the exercise of consideration shall be concluded with expedition and preferably within a period of three months from the date of presentation of a certified copy of this order.
Accordingly and without going into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, this petition shall stand disposed of in light of the statement noted above.
