The present writ petition, inter alia, has been filed with the following prayer:
"I. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no. 2 to pass an appropriate order with regard to the financial approval to the appointment of the petitioner on the post of peon (Class-IV) in pursuance of hearing conducted vide order dated 01.11.2018 within time bound period which may be prescribed by this Hon'ble Court.
II. A writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to pay the salary of petitioner month to month against the post of peon and also pay the arrears from the date of his joining."
Heard counsel for the parties and perused the record.
A perusal of the counter affidavit states that in respect of the issue related to the salary of the petitioner, Joint Director of Education had issued a letter on 1.11.2018 for hearing of the matter of the petitioner.
In sum and substance, the allegation is that the matter is pending consideration before the Joint Director of Education and no decision has been taken thereupon.
In view of the stand taken by the respondents, a direction is issued to the Joint Director of Education to pass requisite order in respect of the matter of the petitioner, if not already decided.
The said action shall be taken with all expedition within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a web generated copy of this order, if not already done.
