Kaluji vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|10 May, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

1) By this petition which has been filed through the jail authority, the petitioner has prayed to enlarge him on parole for a period of 30 days for the purpose of his son's engagement and for making necessary arrangements therefor.
2) Considering the ground on which parole is sought as well as the jail record of the petitioner, which shows that on an earlier occasion he had absconded for a period of 273 days, this Court is of the view that the relief prayed for in the petition does not deserve to be granted. The petition is accordingly summarily rejected.
