Counter and rejoinder affidavits filed today, are taken on record.
The present writ petition has been filed, inter alia, with the following reliefs:-
"(i). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.3 to install transformer on electricity polls situated in Gata No. 515 and restore electricity supply to the petitioner's tube well situated in Gata No. 519 with immediate effect.
(ii). Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondent no.3 to decide the representation dated 15.12.2017 (Annexure No.4 to this writ petition) within stipulated period."
Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned counsel appearing for the respondents as well as learned Standing Counsel and perused the record.
Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, we direct that in case the petitioner files a representation along with the copy of this petition within a period 15 days from today before the respondent no.3- Executive Engineer, Vidyut Vitran Khand-II, Shamli, the same shall be decided by a reasoned and speaking order by it, in accordance with law, after affording opportunity of hearing to the petitioner within a period of two months from the date of filing of such representation.
It is open to the petitioner if he so chooses to adduce evidence in support of his contention.
With the above observations/ directions, the writ petition is disposed of.
