JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to consider his representation dated 20.12.2016 and dispose of the same.
2. According to the petitioner, he is in possession of the property in question as on date. But, one third party, viz. A.Mohammed Ismail claims that he is the owner of the land on the basis of forged documents. On coming to know that the said Mohammed Ismail had submitted his application before the respondents to obtain patta illegally, the petitioner raised his objection before the 2nd respondent by submitting his representation dated 20.12.2016 through Registered Post. On receipt of the same, the Commissioner of Land Administration sent a communication to the respondents on 06.01.2017 to consider the petitioner's objection and pass appropriate orders. Since no orders are passed on the said representation, the petitioner is before this Court.
3. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the material documents available on record.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the 2nd respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2016 on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the parties concerned and pass appropriate orders, as expeditiously as possible.
This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
