Kalidas vs State

High Court Of Gujarat|29 May, 2012

JUDGMENT / ORDER

Rule.
Learned APP, waives service of rule on behalf of respondent.
Heard Learned APP for the respondent.
The applicant, a life convict having reasonably good jail record, seeks temporary bail on the ground of sad demise of his mother and he being the only son has to perform certain religious rituals as per Hindu customary law.
Considering the overall jail record and remarks about conduct of the applicant during imprisonment, I am inclined to grant 15 days of temporary bail from the date of his release on furnishing personal bond of Rs.2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) to the satisfaction of the jail authority on usual terms and conditions. On completion of the temporary bail, the applicant shall surrender before the jail authorities in time.
Rule is made absolute.
