Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Amit Sinha, learned A.G.A. for the State-respondent.
Against an externment order dated 9.4.2019 petitioner has preferred appeal before the Commissioner, Varanasi Division, Varanasi and the said appeal is pending. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that his limited prayer for issuance of direction to the Appellate Court to decide the appeal expeditiously otherwise, the purpose of filing the same would be frustrated.
Learned A.G.A. has no objection to this proposition.
We finally dispose of this petition with a direction to the Appellate Authority to decide the pending appeal of the petitioner within 15 days from the next date of hearing subject to production of certified copy of this order.
It is made clear that this court has nothing observed on merit, the Appellate Authority to act in accordance with law.
