Heard Sri Sudhir Dixit, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.
The petitioner has prayed for the following relief:
"Issue a writ, order of direction in the nature of mandamus directing and commanding the respondent no. 4 to decide the Case No. 04276/2021 Computer Case No. T 202115090304276 (Kalawati Vs Sanju and others), under Section 12 Ga Uttar Pradesh Panchayati Raj Act, 1947,pending before him within stipulated period as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper under the facts and circumstances of the case in accordance with law.
There is no good cause for this Court to prioritise the hearing of an election petition filed in the year 2021.
Faced with this the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks leave to approach the tribunal.
It is open to the petitioner to move an application for expediting the hearing of the election petition before the election tribunal.
In case such application is moved, the same shall be decided by the election tribunal in accordance with law and as per its roster.
The writ petition is disposed of.
