JUDGMENT / ORDER

Thottathil B.Radhakrishnan, J. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader and the learned counsel for the private respondents.
2. We think that it is not necessary for this Court to repeatedly hear, every year, the dispute between different groups in relation to the Chandanakudamahotsavam and other matters in connection with Kalamala Mosque, Enathu, Pathanamthitta district, including daily activities in that mosque. We say so because, in an earlier round, a direction was issued through judgment dated 16.11.2011 in WP(C) No.29582 of 2011 directing Sub Inspector of Police having jurisdiction over the area, where the mosque is situated, to keep constant vigil and ensure that no law and order situation arises or violence erupts in the premises of the mosque on account of the dispute between the parties.
WP(C).No.25619/14 2
3. In the result, this writ petition is ordered directing that the jurisdictional Sub Inspector of Police shall ensure that necessary vigil is kept and due action is taken if there is any law and order situation or if there is likelihood of commission of cognizable offence or violation in general. This will apply notwithstanding as to what are the disputes between the parties because such issues will lie before the jurisdiction of the civil court or Tribunal, as the case may be. This direction and order will apply for all times to come, unless otherwise ordered by this Court, or, with passage of time, it is seen necessary to provide such vigil, to the satisfaction of the jurisdictional police.
The writ petition is ordered as above without answering any question as to rival claims.
