Following orders were passed in the matter on 17.12.2019:-
"Grievance is that petitioner has superannuated on 28.2.2019 but not a single penny towards retiral benefits has been paid to petitioner.
Learned counsel for the respondents may obtain instructions in the matter. Put up as fresh on 19.12.2019.
Name of Sri Rajesh Kumar Pandey will be shown as counsel for the respondent no. 2 whenever the matter is listed next."
Sri Rajesh Kumar Pandey, appearing for the respondent no.2 states that petitioner's File has been sent for audit examination, and therefore his retiral benefits could not be released earlier. On the basis of instructions, learned counsel for the respondents states that the entire retiral dues of petitioner would be paid within a period of three months from today.
In view of the stand taken by the respondents, this writ petition stands disposed of with a direction upon the respondents to act in terms of their assurance, extended before this Court, and to release the entire withheld retiral dues, within the period undertaken by them.
