JUDGMENT / ORDER

Prima facie, Mr. Vyas, learned advocate for the appellant submitted that income should be assessed Rs. 2000/- per month. Deducting 1/4th towards personal and living expenses, the amount would come to Rs.1500/- per month and Rs. 18000/- per year. By applying multiplier of 11 years, the future loss of income would come to Rs.1,98,000/-. The claimants are entitled for Rs. 25,000/- for loss to estate, loss of consortium and funeral expenses. Hence, the total compensation would come to Rs. 2,23,000/-.
First Appeal No. 2143 of 1997 is injury case. However, Mr. Shah, learned advocate for the claimants is not present. In the interest of justice and as a last chance matters are adjourned to 02.03.2012.
