The prayer in the writ petition is praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on merits by disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 07.11.2016 within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court.
2. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.

3. When the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought for a limited prayer to dispose of the representation given by the petitioner on 07.11.2016. In the said representation dated 07.11.2016, the petitioner has made allegations against the second respondent and also sought to conduct enquiry against the second respondent. Since no order has been passed in the said representation, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition for the aforesaid prayer.

Considering the limited prayer made by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 07.11.2016 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after affording opportunity to the parties concerned, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of representation. It is needless to say that the petitioner shall furnish one more copy of the representation dated 07.11.2016 along with copy of this order to the first respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
