JUDGMENT / ORDER

The prayer made in the writ petition is to issue a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take action in accordance with law on the representation of the petitioner dated 04.07.2016.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he has lodged a complaint to the first respondent on 04.07.2016 requesting to take action against the fourth respondent for the alleged commission of the offences under Sections 420, 415 and 168 IPC. On receipt of the said complaint, the first respondent has forwarded the same to the second respondent. However, till date, no action has been taken by the respondent police. Hence, this petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3.
4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the second respondent to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 04.07.2016 and pass appropriate orders as per law, after conducting enquiry by calling upon the petitioner as well as the fourth respondent and affording an opportunity of personal hearing to them. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
