This Writ Petition is filed for the following substantive relief :
“ … to issue a writ of mandamus, declaring the G.O.Ms.No.34, Food & Agriculture (Coop.IV) dt. 16-1-1989, issued by the Government of the then combined State of Andhra Pradesh vide A.P. Gazette No.6, dt. 9-2-1989 in so far as delegating the powers of the Registrar U/s.34-A of the Act to the Special Cadre Deputy Registrar of Co-operative Societies working as District Co-operative Officers as being illegal, arbitrary and contrary to the provisions of A.P. Co-operative Societies Act, 1964 and to consequently set aside the same …”
At the hearing, Sri K. Srinivasa Rao, learned Counsel representing Sri Vishnuvardhan Reddy, learned Counsel for the petitioners, sought for permission of the court to withdraw the Writ Petition.
The Writ Petition is accordingly dismissed as withdrawn.
As a sequel to the dismissal of the Writ Petition, WPMP No.35466 of 2014 filed for interim relief is dismissed as infructuous.
