A. NO.2535/2018 ON THE FILE OF THE LXVI ADDITIONAL CITY CIVIL AND SESSIONS JUDGE, BANGALORE (CCH-67) AND THE ORDER OF CONVICTION PASSED IN C.C. NO.16075/2017 PASSED BY THE XVIII A.C.M.M., BANGALORE DATED 10.08.2018.
THIS CRIMINAL REVISION PETITION COMING ON FOR ADMISSION, THIS DAY THE COURT PASSED THE FOLLOWING:
ORDER By Judgment & Order dated 10.08.2018, passed in C.C. No.16075/2017, the petitioner has been sentenced to pay fine of Rs.3,00,000/- and in default, to undergo simple imprisonment for a period of one year. A sum of Rs.2,90,000/- has been ordered to be paid to the complainant as compensation and balance amount of Rs.10,000/- is defrayed to the state.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has filed a memo stating that the petitioner has already filed DD bearing No.059337 dated 12.07.2019 for a sum of Rs.2,40,000/- before the trial court and he has already paid a sum of Rs.60,000/- to the respondent. He submits that as per the judgment of the trial court, the petitioner has paid the entire amount of Rs.3 Lakhs.
3. In view of the above submission and the memo filed by the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has complied with the order passed by the trial court. The Trial court shall recover Rs.10,000/- out of the deposited amount towards state expenses.
Accordingly, the revision petition is disposed off.
In view of disposal of the main petition, I.A.No.1/2019 does not survive for consideration and the same is disposed off.
