JUDGMENT / ORDER

Challenging the order passed by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem, in C.M.P.No.324 of 2017 in C.C.No.3 of 2015 dated 09.05.2017 allowing the petition filed by the respondent under Section 311 of Cr.PC, the present Criminal Original Petition has been filed.
2. When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor took notice for the respondent and fairly submitted that the case in C.C.No.3 of 2015 pending on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem may be directed to be disposed of within a stipulated time frame.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is inclined to pass such a direction. Accordingly, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Salem is directed to dispose of the case in C.C.No.3 of 2015 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
