For Petitioner : Ms.C.S.Monica O R D E R The petitioner has filed the suit in O.S.No.50 of 2017 on the file of the Principal District Munsif, Thiruvannamalai, to set aside the order passed by the Tamil Nadu Electricity Ombudsman, respect of change of tariff for consuming the electricity and the consumption changes claimed. Pending disposal of the same, the petitioner has filed an application in I.A.No.525 of 2017 for injunction not to disconnect the electricity service connection given to the premises.
2. The Trial Court ordered notice to the respondents in I.A.No.525 of 2017 as there is a threat of disconnection of power supply. The relief sought for in the main suit as well as the interim application are one and same. Since, the trial Court has not ordered injunction, aggrieved over the same, the petitioner has come before this Court with this Civil Revision Petition.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and perused the records.
4. There is no scope for interfering with the proceedings pending before the trial Court. However, a direction is issued to the Principal District Munsif, Thiruvannamalai, to dispose of the application in I.A.No.525 of 2017 in O.S.No.50 of 2017, as expeditiously as possible.
5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. No costs.
