THE HON’BLE SRI JUSTICE R.KANTHA RAO WRIT PETITION No. 35613 of 2014 Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel appearing for the respondents.
The petitioner is a Controller in Telangana State Road Transport Corporation. According to him, on 30.10.2014, he was discharging his duties at Erramanzil point, and when the Superintendent visited the said control point, he was not available at that time. Thereupon, alleging that the petitioner had abstained from duties for one hour without intimating the Depot authorities, a charge sheet was issued against him calling for explanation. Without even waiting for the explanation, the second respondent passed the impugned order of suspension. Now, the enquiry is pending against him. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the order of suspension passed against him pending enquiry.
Having regard to the nature of the allegation leveled against the petitioner, the respondents are directed to complete the enquiry and pass final orders within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
The Writ Petition is accordingly disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
Pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall stand closed in consequence.
