JUDGMENT / ORDER

Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal.
2. The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2016 by releasing the document registered as Doc. No.2018 of 2015 on the file of the 2nd respondent office.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2016 seeking for release of Settlement Deed registered as Doc.No.2018 of 2015, the 2nd respondent has not released the same yet.
4. Mr.Era Premnath, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the 2nd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 2nd respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.08.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
