JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus forbearing the 1st respondent from effecting any change in the revenue records in respect of patta Nos.367 & 653 for S.F.No.507/2 measuring 2.65 acres and S.F.No.506/3 measuring 0.72 acres with a residential house in Sanganur Village, Coimbatore Corporation Limits, Coimbatore North Taluk, Coimbatore District in favour of the 5th respondent pursuant to the petitioner's objection letter dated 10.01.2015.
2. It is the case of the petitioner that inspite of the civil litigation between the parties, the 1st respondent is taking steps to effect change of name in the revenue records and therefore, the petitioner has given an objection letter on 10.01.2015 not to effect any change in the revenue records, which has not yet been considered by the 1st respondent so far.
3. Mr.L.Chandrakumar, learned counsel appearing for the 3rd respondent submitted that the petitioner's representation may be considered, after giving notice to the respondents 3 to 5 in accordance with law.
4. Mr.R.Rajeswaran, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's objection dated 10.01.2015 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties within a period of four weeks.
5. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to consider the petitioner's objection dated 10.01.2015 and pass orders, after giving notice to the respondents 3 to 5, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
6. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
