JUDGMENT / ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records connected with C.C.No.198 of 2013 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu and quash the entire proceedings inasmuch as the petitioner/accused 6 alone is concerned. 2.A joint compromise memo dated 13.06.2017 was filed by the petitioner and the first respondent/ defacto complainant, duly signed by the petitioner and the first respondent/ defacto complainant and their respective counsels.
3. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the joint compromise memo may be recorded and the impugned proceedings in respect of the petitioner/ Accused 6 may be quashed. The first respondent/ defacto complainant is present in Court and his identity is verified and he has no objection to quash the impugned proceedings in respect of the petitioner/ Accused 6 alone.
4. Recording the joint compromise memo dated 13.06.2017, filed as stated supra, the proceedings in C.C.No.198 of 2013 pending on the file of learned Judicial Magistrate No.I, Chengalpattu, is quashed in respect of the petitioner/ Accused 6 alone and the criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
