This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.638 of 2011 on the file of the first respondent and quash the same.

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case in Crime No.638 of 2011 on the file of the first respondent herein was transferred to the file of the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Coimbatore and the case has been renumbered as Crime No.58 of 2011. He further submitted that the Inspector of Police, Anti Land Grabbing Cell, Coimbatore, completed the investigation and closed the case as mistake of fact and the referred charge sheet was also filed before the Judicial Magistrate, Palladam.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is closed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
