This petition is filed to direct the respondent police to register the case based on the complaint given by the petitioner on 27.02.2017.

2. The learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] submitted that based on the complaint received from the petitioner, preliminary enquiry was conducted and the allegation made in the complaint was found to be false and the Enquiry Officer recommended to drop the action based on the complaint. The petitioner himself has furnished the letter of the second respondent received by him under Right to Information Act wherein the petitioner had been informed about the pendency of the preliminary enquiry and therefore nothing survives in this petition.
3. The respondent police is directed to intimate the proposal of the Investigating Officer on the result of the complaint given by the petitioner. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
