JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Court on 07.03.2017, directed the Registry to call for explanation from the Magistrate as regards the inordinate delay in the disposal of the case in C.C.No.23 of 2016, despite the order of this Court dated 30.11.2015 in Crl.O.P.No.28723 of 2015. But such explanation is not forthcoming. This sort of practice by the Judicial Magistrate cannot be countenanced.
2.Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of directing the learned Judicial Magistrate, Ambattur to dispose of the case in C.C.No.23 of 2016 pending on his file, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
