JUDGMENT / ORDER

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to survey the land existing in S.F.No.67/1 to an extent of 17.33 acres, Sankaramanallur South, Madathukulam Taluk, Thiruppur District and fix survey stones on all the sides within a reasonable time, by considering his representation dated 07.04.2017.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that inspite of the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2017, the respondents have not measured and fixed the survey stones in the said land.
3. Mrs.K.Bhuvaneswari, learned Government Advocate, taking notice for the respondents submitted that the respondents may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation to measure and fix the survey stones and pass orders in accordance with law within a time frame.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, on payment of necessary charges by the petitioner, the respondents are directed to measure the land in S.F.No.67/1, measuring an extent of 17.33 acres in Sankaramanallur South, Madathukulam Taluk, Thiruppur District and fix survey stones, considering the petitioner's representation dated 07.04.2017, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
