JUDGMENT / ORDER

Since the prayer in the writ petition is to issue a Writ of Mandamus, direction to the first respondent to initiate appropriate disciplinary proceedings against the 2nd respondent and consequently direct the 1st respondent to take necessary steps to withdraw the Good Teach Award conferred to the 2nd respondent and consequently direct the respondents to pay the cost, expenses incurred to the petitioner along with the compensation of Rs.36,510/- as demanded for mental agony caused, it is reported by the learned counsel appearing for the respondents that the petitioner was already retired from his service and hence, this writ petition has become infrucutous.
2. Apart from this, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner reported before this Court that earlier learned counsel on record for the petitioner has filed change of vakalat for the petitioner.
3. It is seen from the records that as on date, no change of vakalat has been filed and this Court has issued notice to the petitioner. But, the petitioner has not chosen to appear before this Court either in person or through his counsel. Hence, the case is listed today by printing the name of the petitioner in the cause list. When the case is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs.
