The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing to restrain the first respondent from granting No Objection Certificate to the 6th respondent for putting up a new roadside petroleum retail outlet at S.No.249/1, Parayapatti Village,( Harur Salem Main Road), Pappireddipatti Taluk, Dharmapuri District, pending disposal of the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 and consequently, directing the first respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 after offering a personal hearing to the petitioner.
2. The learned counsel appearing on either side submitted that the first respondent may be directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
3. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 23.03.2017 and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of.
No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
