The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to take physical possession of the property measuring 770 sq. ft., bearing New S.F. No.94/1A1A, Sengunthar Nagar, Agoor Group Amirthapuram Village, Tirutani Taluk, Tiruvallur District gifted by petitioner on 12.09.2014 (Doc. No. 4697/2014) in the name of A/m.Subramania Swamy Tirukovil, Tirutani by considering the petitioner's representation dated 12.04.2017 and 03.05.2017.
2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner, along with others, had gifted the above said property to the temple under a Gift Deed dated 12.09.2014 and that the temple has not taken the physical possession of the same.
3. Mr.M. Maharaja, learned Special Government Pleader taking notice for the respondent submitted that the respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and complete the process within a time frame.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in the Writ Petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representations dated 12.04.2017 and 03.05.2017 and conclude the process within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
