WRIT PETITION No.22260 of 2014 ORDER: (Per the Hon’ble The Chief Justice Sri Kalyan Jyoti Sengupta) We have heard the learned counsel for the petitioner.
We are of the view that this writ petition cannot be entertained, as the dispute agitated before us whether the property tax has been levied properly or not. According to us, it has to be adjudicated by the forum created under the Statute.
We, therefore, dismiss the writ petition granting liberty to take necessary steps in accordance with law. There will be no order as to costs.
Consequently, pending miscellaneous petitions, if any, shall also stand dismissed.
