For Petitioner : Mr.D.Jayasekar O R D E R The petitioner who is a tenant under the respondent has filed the above Civil Revision Petition to direct the Rent Controller, District Munsif, Ambattur to dispose of the application in M.P.No.79(A) of 2016 in M.P.No.62/2015 in R.C.O.P.No.11/2015 within a time frame. C.R.P.No.565 of 2017 has been filed by the tenant / Judgment debtor to direct the District Munsif Cum Rent Controller, Ambattur to dispose of the application in E.A.No. 136 of 2016 in E.P.No.5 of 2016 in R.C.O.P No.11 of 2015 within a time frame.
2. Since both the Civil Revision Petitions are between the same parties and connected with R.C.O.P No.11 of 2015, they are disposed of by this common order.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had complied with the conditional order passed by this Court on 21/12/2017 by depositing a sum of Rs.1,19,000/- to the credit of R.C.O.P No.11 of 2015. Further, the learned counsel submitted that in view of the long pendency of the application, the petitioner is put to hardship and prejudice.
4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel for petitioner and taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for in these Civil Revision Petitions, without expressing any opinion with regards to the merits of the case, I direct the District Munsif Cum Rent Controller, Ambattur to dispose of the applications in E.A.No. 136 of 2016 in E.P.No. 5 of the 2016 in R.C.O.P No.11 of 2015 and the petition in M.P.No.79(A) of 2016 in M.P.62/2015 in R.C.O.P No.11 of 2015 on merits and in accordance with the law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
5. With these observations, the Civil Revision Petitions are disposed of.
No costs. Consequently, connected Civil Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
