This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.2 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police.

When this Criminal Original Petition was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor took notice for the respondent and submitted that the Habeas Corpus Petition filed in this connection by the petitioner was dismissed on 18.01.2017 and immediately on the next day, this Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner, without waiting for the authorities to take action.
3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition deserves only to be dismissed. Accordingly, recording the statement made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
