THESE WRIT PETITIONS ARE FILED UNDER ARTICLES 226 AND 227 OF THE CONSTITUTION OF INDIA PRAYING TO DIRECT THE R-2 TO FORTHWITH HONOUR THE BILLS SUBMITTED BY THE PETITIONER INSTITUTIONS IN FULL, FOR HAVING IMPARTED MES TRAINING TO THE CANDIDATES.
THESE WRIT PETITIONS COMING ON FOR PRELIMINARY HEARING, THIS DAY, THE COURT MADE THE FOLLOWING:
O R D E R Sri Krishna S. Vyas, learned counsel for the petitioners. Sri Y.D. Harsha, learned Additional Government Advocate for respondents.
2. The writ petitions are admitted for hearing.
With the consent of the parties, the matters are heard finally.
3. In these petitions under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioners inter alia have prayed for the following reliefs:
“(i) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the 2nd respondent to forthwith honour the bills submitted by the petitioner institutions in full, for having imparted MES training to the candidates.
(ii) Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus thereby directing the 2nd respondent authority to give interest at the rate of 12% per annum, from the date of failure to honour the bill i.e., 30 days from the submission of the respective bills.
(iii) Grant such other reliefs as may be found expedient in the interest of justice and equity.”
4. When the matters were taken up for consideration today, learned counsel for the parties jointly submitted that the controversy involved in the instant petitions is covered by the order passed in W.P.Nos.58780-58782/2016 and connected petitions disposed of on 30.01.2018.
5. In view of the aforesaid submission and with a view to maintain parity, the instant writ petitions are disposed of in similar terms and direction.
