It is the case of the petitioner that in a road accident the petitioner's husband, Kannan, died and based on the complaint given by the petitioner, a case was registered in Crime No.936 of 2016 for the offences under Sections 279 and 304-A IPC on 05.11.2016 and thereafter, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present petition seeking further investigation in Crime No.936 of 2016.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents.
4. Taking into consideration of the fact that the case was registered as early as on 05.11.2016, the present criminal original petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.936 of 2016 and file the final report within a period of 2 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
