JUDGMENT / ORDER

Disputing the case of the second respondent, earlier the petitioner approached this Court by way of filing a writ petition and the Registry refused to number the same, on the ground that the petitioner should approach the National Commission for Scheduled Castes/Tribes for appropriate relief, following the directions of a Division Bench of this Court in Soma Velandi v. Dr.Anthony Elangovan, reported in 2010(4) CTC 8. Accordingly, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.02.2016 to the first respondent, which was received by the first respondent on 02.03.2016. Since the said representation has not been taken up for consideration, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.
2. Mr.K.Balamurugan, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the first respondent.
3. Without expressing any opinion as to the merits of the contentions raised by the writ petitioner in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders on the representation dated 27.02.2016 made by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving notice to the second respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
