Both these Criminal Original Petitions were filed to order to exhume the buried body of petitioner's deceased son Jayakumar@Kutty and to conduct Re-Post Mortem examination on the corpse by a newly constituted panel of doctor team relating to a case in Crime No.442 of 2012 on the file of E9 Inspector of Police, Thazhambur Police Station, Kancheepuram District.
2. Today, when the matter was taken up, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing on behalf of the respondent submitted that a report has been filed before the learned Judicial Magistrate, Kancheepuram, in which the case was investigated and subsequently, the same was dropped.
3. Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, both Criminal Original Petitions were dismissed with a liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy before the appropriate forum.
