JUDGMENT / ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed for a direction to the 3rd respondent to file final report in Crime No.215 of 2015 on the file of the 3rd respondent police.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR was filed in the year 2015 and the petitioner approached the 3rd respondent on various dates to expedite the investigation but till now no action has been taken. Stating so, the learned counsel for the petitioner prayed for a direction to the 3rd respondent police to file final report within a stipulated time frame.
3. Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.
4. Since the First Information Report has been filed in the year 2015 and also considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the 3rd respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report in Crime No.215 of 2015 pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
