Heard learned counsel for the parties.
According to the petitioners, they made an application for grant of quarry lease with reference to land in Sy.No. 297/1 of Palkuru village, Banaganapalli Mandal, Kurnool district and their application was forwarded by the second respondent under his letter dated 8.8.2013 to the third respondent requesting him to issue ‘No-objection certificate’ if the aforesaid land is patta land. It is alleged that though their application has been pending from August, 2013 with the third respondents, no orders are passed so far. Hence the present writ petition is filed primarily alleging inaction against the third respondent.
Though this writ petition was heard earlier on two occasions, no instructions were received by the learned Government Pleader for Revenue from the third respondent.
Hence this writ petition is disposed of directing the third respondent to consider the petitioners’ application forwarded by the second respondent and send a report with reference to the objections, if any. The said exercise, if not already completed, shall be completed within one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Miscellaneous applications, if any, shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
