Merely downloading certain information from its official Website will not entitle the respondent corporation to make any demand. The written notice demanding property tax has to be served personally upon the owner or payer of the taxable property under the law. The communication through official website is not a substitute service of notice as the respondent corporation shall not presume that the owner/payer of the taxable property can have any computer/Laptop facility in his house.
Miscellaneous Petitions pending, if any, in this petition shall stand closed. No order as to costs.
